An Airfoil cone on the interior of every Aero Turbine Series Muffler is the key to maintaining highe performance output. This results in reduced exhaust gas temperatures, increased horsepower and torque, increased fuel economy and less engine wear. The exterior shells are made of high quality 304 stainless steel, polished to a bright mirror finish and embossed with the signature Aero Turbine Logo. This original Turbine series muffler has a very deep, unmistakeable, and unique tone. All Aero Mufflers use patented jet engine technology to dramatically reduce engine back pressure. Incoming exhaust gas is rapidly expanded as it enters the chamber then split via an Airfoil cone with an orifice. The velocity of the air outside the cone is increased because of the greater distance the air must travel. The inner stream, passing through the oirfice, creates a low pressure vacuum in the rear of the outer chamber because of its higher density and assist in drawing the air out of the exhaust pipe. When these high and low pressure streams mix back together the exhaust velocity is increased, and exhaust tone is softened. E-mail a friend about this item. |
